Not really... but I did PlastiDip the metallic part of my Ashtray.

I don't want the metal to scratch up my iPhone. I am using my ashtray as my cell phone holder.

maybe i'll try it to see how it looks.

on a side note, I just took the ashtray out and without it you just have more compartment to put your phone.

You know you can take out the ashtray and have an even bigger hole for your iphone.

I dont know if that would look good... if you want a darker shift **** just buy the F Series one... its only like $60 with your discount and it looks much nicer... and you get to keep your factory **** just in case... http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2008/1805.html

I wouldn't Plasti-dip anything in the interior...it usually doesn't look as good as you think.

+1 ashtray for my iPhone

The Plasitidip won't hold up with the constant use. I don't recommend it. As previously mentioned, just get the F-sport **** instead.

I wouldn't do it. The PlastiDip might come off on your hands from constantly using it.
