Default Good wheel offset

Hi all,
I am currently thinking about get the forgestar F14 for my IS.
I just need the wheels to expand out a little more and im none of the hellaflush crowd. 18x8.5 F and 18x9 R what wheel offset I can have to be a little more aggressive?
Thanks in advance
Leo

+35, +35 is a nice balance. +22, +22, by comparison, would be flush.

8.5" +40
9.0" +40
= see below

If you go to http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp you can play around with different offsets to see how much it will stick out from stock.

Just be sure to get what you like. There's many people on the forum with differing views as to what looks good and what doesn't.

(note, not lowered in third pic)

I would suggest a 30 et in the 8.5 and a 25-27 et in the 9

That'll get you lookin nice and wide without any rubbing issues if you mount a 225 width tire on the 8.5 and a 265 or less on the 9.

It shouldnt be what a lot of people would call hella flush but it should be about as close as you can get without beginning to be hella flush.

No offense taken. But, "terrible wheel fitment" is purely subjective.

In fact, it's perfect wheel fitment, as it's exactly what I wanted it to be (which is why I went custom).

I wasn't going for an aggressive look....I just wanted a little more aggressive than stock.....while keeping it at a spec that Lexus states is safe (the rears are spec'd to F-sport rears, the fronts are close but I had to go 8.5" not 8" wide like f-sports)

But, I will concur, not very aggressive....and for that I don't take any offense.
