heres the drivers foglight out of the bumper clean the surface of the plastic before placing in oven
-so heres the hard part is manning up to put a $200 piece of plastic into a oven
-preheat the oven to 220 degrees Fahrenheit (American) place in oven for 8 min.
-dont worry about these tabs they dont do anything
-take out of oven with oven mitt and scrape around the plastic
repeat untill you can pull the plastic free from the casing
*quickly remove grey glue if you get it on the exposed chrome casing*
if you do find some later goo gone works great on all of this
-here is the plastic lense and the chrome plate attached remove the two screws and remove chrome
-the chrome is real not plastic so you do have to skuff it up take your time and do it right
-paint the chrome light coats wait for it to dry dont rush
-reassembale foglight and push the lense and plastic housing back together lightly and place in oven same temp same time
- when the foglight comes out place it lense down on a towel and press the casing into the lense
-do the other one put 'em back in and have fun

great write up, why did you put the foglights back into the oven again? was it to heat up the glue on the housing so you could fit them together? couldn't you have just applied new sealant to the housing to keep it together instead.

it was to heat up the glue... no you cant just apply more sealant it wouldnt fit right heat it up and seal it as best you can THEN put more on after if need be. i got a good seal on mine so i didnt the best way to test this is once its back together place the lense part (just the lense) into a full sink and see if water leaks into it. if so its easy to fix while its outta the car good question...next
