Servicing at Toyota?

Servicing at Toyota?
I know some of you guys have gotten your lexus serviced at toyota. What kind of service besides oil changes have they done? I just moved to a new area and am wondering if they would install Fsport springs/shocks for me. Lexus quoted me $1000 which is rediculous. There are regular auto shops around my area but its a roll of the dice as far as who I can trust and get the job done right. Whata you guys think?

At Toyota, I've had Wheel alignment, TPMS programed, Intake/Injection service, Diff Fluid changed for AWD.
To date I have only had warrenty/recall work performed at Leuxs. I do all my own basic maintainance and buy the materials at Lexus, i.e. filters, gaskets etc... Toyota won't be able to order or stock some Lexus parts such as O2 sensors for instance.
So I don't know it Toyota dealer would do suspension work. Let us know what they say.

I think you should go for it at Toyota. I've done the sparkplug service and oil change for my IS350 for $320 at Toyota. Lexus wanted $800+ on the same service. I even got a quote from Lexus to install my sway bars, $240 for just the front, and another $240 for the back. Did it myself for free. Good way to learn more about your car.

just have a reg shop do the suspension, lexus wont honor the warranty if a toyota dealer does it anyway so it probably wont matter. Just find a good place to do it.
Or if your F sport springs/shocks are already assembled with the top hats on, I'll install them for $400, (considering the cold) . But then you'd have to drive to LI. I did mine in my driveway. Took a few hours but wasn't the end of the world.

my car is out of warrenty now. I dont have the tools to do it myself. I have one mechanic I trust but his shop is an hour away where I use to live. Finding a new shop and someone you can trust is hard. Ill have to do more investigating I guess. But I will call toyota for a quote.
