I took pictures of my AP2 tips that i just bought last week. Gives you guys a good understanding of how the bolt on works.

Kangsta, I would suggest you searching used ones on honda/s2000 forums. If you're lucky you can get them pretty cheap for around $50-$80. Do not buy it from the honda dealership because its a rip off. I believe they sell it for nearly $300 for a set of new ones.

As for ebay, member: wheelcapaccessories sells them. Just email him to see if he has anymore in stock.
Yea theres a bolt but theres ALSO A WELDED INSERT ON THE AP2 EXHAUST THAT THE TIPS SCREW INTO!!!! I just got rid of my S2000, yall do what yall want. Im just telling you the proper way to get them installed.

Yeah, it's basically being used as a set screw to hold it onto the muffler, which is actually more than the factory ones, which are simply interference fit (not spot welded).

Im happy my car was used to help. I just wiggled the stock tips off and pulled really hard and they came off. I bought my tips off ebay for like 70 shipped and they have one bolt that is on the bottom that screws on to the stock muffler. Very easy to do.

I was taking a second look at the bumper with the S2k Tips and realized that they flow so much better with the GFX lips because it looks like the tips tuck more into the bumper instead of sticking straight out. Is there a reason the guys without the lips have them sticking soo far out? Can you not slide them in a little further towards the bumper to hide to make them less noticeable?

The reason the guys without the lip have them sticking out so far is because they don't have the lip. With the lip you have more "bumper" to hide the tips.

And no, once you hit a certain point with the tips, you cannot slide them in any further, the stock muffler pipe will hit the inside of the tip. They would have to cut the muffler pipe down to make it less noticeable.

^^ Yes he's correct, there's a piece inside the AP2 tips that will prevent it from sliding any further in.

thanks for the info. what if you were to just drill a hole into the stock exhaust instead of having to re-weld the insert. will that still work?
Is that $65 for both tips? Does it matter what year of s2000?

I was just searching on eBay and found some 2013-2014 honda accord tips that were stated to fit an is2x0 as well. Anyone know what the difference is or if they are a different oem part number?
