Wald Trunk Spoiler or BC Coils ??

Pulling the trigger on one of the two, never really bought coils bc im settin on STechs and i really dont want to go any lower just though it might be nice to have all the setting but I have been wanting a authentic Wald trunk spoiler for a long long time.. which one cl?????

I have the Wald trunk spoiler and I love it!!! I would def recommend it. I have no experiecnce on the other choice so I can't give you my input on that..

That's two totally different areas, If you are not wanting to go any lower then get the WALD but if you want to have better ride quality and adjustable height then go for the Coils, I am running BC Coils and have WALD spoiler and I love both.

if you're content with the s-techs, then get the spoiler. it's always nice to have some extra dialing up or down when you want to change your ride comfort, but the WALD is a nice look on the 2IS.

Sounds you can live with or without the coil, and Wald sounds better which is what you always want.

i personally got the coils first ..... doing inside to out this time around
my old is300 i did all the outter work first n i regret it

coils are good choice and some have good prices maybe. but I say it's your choice tho :)

Found a place with 1 wald trunk spoiler in stock and he gave me a good price on it so its on the way......

Snubbles 12-27-10 01:50 PM

cool are you going to mold it?

Kybball#1 12-27-10 01:54 PM

Depends on how much it would cost to mold it, thats why i bought the authentic one, for good fitment....

Love my Wald and I have coils, but you're already lowered so you're fine there. Here is a pic of my Molded Wald and custom fiberglass sides that were made to be flush with the spoiler cause there is a slight drop without. Good choice:thumbup:

Looks like you paid some $$ to have that done..

Sffd103 12-27-10 02:12 PM

YES!!! I did.....don't remind me! You picked the best rear spoiler though.

Looks really nice molded on, now I wonder if I should do that with mine...
