Default HID install question

I currently have stock halogens but wants to get an HID kit. I have a question about the ballast location. I would like to place the ballast to where the stock HID kit is. Where is the ballast located and how would I get the wiring harnesses through without drilling a hole.

Thanks

If you don't want to drill holes you can get a set of slim HID kits and stuff all everything into the headlight companion, which is possible
but the only thing is that you won't have relay harness connected tho

the stock ballast is inside the actual headlights. if you can stuff it in there and not use a relay, you can avoid drilling holes. but it's much easier to do so.

no you don't have to pull out the headlights. look at your manual and the DIY on this forum. it's the one by muzzman.
