Default For those of you interested in this WALD kit...

I'm glad you didn't jump on it.

The seller claimed the kit is in "like new" condition, "both side skirts and rear lip were repainted by top notch Lexus dealership, and were only put on the car for 2 weeks."

Pictures will tell the story..
(BTW, the kit came this dirty)

For this picture below, it's scratched to the level that you could almost see through it.

I'm not here to flame anyone, instead, I'm just really disappointed and depressed. You can't imagine how painful just looking at it. I really don't know what to do with it, not even in the mood to wash it, clean it, as I'm afraid there's more damages covered by the dirt.

Mods, please move this if it's not in the right section. I just want to share my Christmas present I bought for myself.

Not hard to believe many seller exaggerate what they sale. For example, tires that have like 50% tread left, they claim about 80%. Or a seller say they use the spring for like 5000 miles when it was like 50,000 miles.

You did not request for actual pictures before buying?

OP is my best buddy, I went to pick up the kit with him and opened it together.

Both of us were speechless when we first saw it.

The OP did request for the actual pictures, but it is also very common that people will hide the flaws when they are trying to sell things.

Also, I think this is far beyond exaggeratting, since he said the kit was only on the car for two weeks after its painted. Sure there might be some scracthes, but not like this.

How much of the damage is actually visible when you install the kit? I agree that the kit was misrepresented, but it doesn't seem as bad as you've made it out to be.

while there are only so many WALD kits floating around in the 2is classified section, it's unnecessary to call out the seller.

to the OP, use the iTrader feedback system as it was intended for, and consider bringing this to attention to a senior forum moderator/administrator.

as far as the kit itself... see if a local body shop can't work some magic and fix/restore the kit.

Thanks guys..for all the comments.
Like I said, Im not here to flame or hate, just sharing my experience.
And Im not exggerating about the kit, it looks bad. Funny thing is there are scratches on the middle of side skirts where it won't make contact with the road if you are too low or by entering the car. I wasn't expecting the kit to be perfect, but this.......
Whether the damages are visible or not, it's in my head, you know it's there.

Btw, I just got a quote for about 1k to repaint the whole kit, that excludes fixing the cracks and installation. (I was supposed to avoid painting the kit since i have a black IS)

iTrader was one of my reference, all the feedbacks were positive. Maybe I jumped on it too fast....
