FM Radio Reception
Hi everyone,
I recently installed a Vaistech unit & followed the steps necessary to perform the nav hack while the vehicle is in motion. Problem is, my FM radio reception seems to have reduced about 30% Does anyone know which of these wires is for the FM radio antenna?

Ok, but my reception used to be GREAT prior to my installing the Vaistech unit and performing the nav hack. I hope maybe it's just that one of the wires is a little loose and I just need to secure the connection. But does anyone know which of these wires is for the FM antenna?

Quick123 is this the yellow wire you're referring to? I think I may have put too much pressure on the wires when I had the nav unit hanging out. Or do you think the Vaistech unit itself is interfering w/my FM reception?

Is this the wire you're referring to? I put alot of strain on all the wires when I had the Nav unit hanging out. I wonder if maybe this particular wire loosened from the connector resulting in reducted FM signal clarity. Is there any way to rectify this if this is indeed the case?

^^ That is not the wire I am talking about, that wire is one of many on the J50 connector...the J67 connector is only a single wire (the plastic part of the connector in your picture is blue in color and is on the far left side below 3 large white connectors)
I have also been thinking about your issue with reception...if the wire was loose or disconnected, it would either be ON or OFF, not poor signal...I would think that maybe the VAIS unit could be contributing to some interferrance, but I do not have enough experience with their products to know for sure...

So this is the wire you're talking about...
What i'll do is try disconnecting the data/power cable to the Vaistech unit and see how the reception turns out. Hopefully this is it or i'll have to rip open my whole Nav unit again (not looking forward to it)
Thanks.
