UPGRADE. Hey if you don't sharing how much extra did you have to pay out of ur pocket to make the upgrade? I'm assuming they sent you a check and you were allowed to do what you wished with it like I've seen in many cases.

Tried fitting the '11 bumper this weekend and ran into a some minor fitment issues. Most of the tabs that mounts the bumper to the car are the same for the grill, fender, and bottom of the bumper. However, the mounting area where the bumper sits beneath the headlight are different among the two bumpers. I don't see this as a huge problem, I can easily shave that area on '11 bumper so it fits beneatht he headlight. Hopefully, maybe this bumper is different in that area because it has the headlight washer option. I wouldn't know until the correct bumper comes in. The brake vents on the lower grill fits, however the air ducts that runs to the brakes falls short and a gap can be seen between the grill and ducts. The ducts don't have to be replaced and are still functional but if the gap bothers you like it bothers me, then the ducts would have to be replaced. Still waiting on the foglight brackets. Sorry for the super overexposed pictures, these were taken with my daughter's camera (weirdly overexposed everything) as my camera's battery was dead.

Thanks guys, would love to finally put this project to an end and make a proper DIY, but still have several key parts backordered.. I'm driving my car right now with bandages, haha..

The bottom picture is an idea of my new front minus the 2011 headlights, no front plate and in Tungsten Pearl.

I don't have to pay anything out of pocket , helps to know people in the auto business. The check went to the shop, but I practically work there.

Thanks Racerboi07, that does look good and aggressive looking. Can't wait to finish her up. It seems I wanna mod her more now (sway bars, intake, maybe coils, etc.) after my mishap, make her better than ever.

im thinking about doing this swap too. I got this big hole in my bumper covered up by my license plate. How much did all the parts cost?

Looking really good. Guess it sucks a bit when you're waiting for parts. You can rebuild her better than she was! Do it!!

I noticed that too, wonder if you can do that on the 2011 stock. It's not a hard mod to do though, making the fog lights turn on without the low beams being on.

Just a heads up, I will be having the 2009 upper and lower front grill, passenger foglight, and driverside headlight for sale soon in the sale section. The upper grill has a small section of a tab broken, won't notice it with the engine cover on. Lower grill and passenger foglight is in "used" condition but nothing broken. Driverside headlight (HID with AFS) inner and upper mounting tabs broke off but I super glued them back on. If I were to reuse the headlight, I would remove the broken tabs and buy the replacement tabs from Lexus, it's for headlights where the mounting tabs broke off and new tabs can be screwed it in it's place. I was told the super glue would hold fine but I'm OCD and believe screws > super glue. No bulbs included but the ballast will be included as part of the headlight.

Replacement headlight mounting tabs:

Part# 8119653020 - LH Headlamp Protector Retainer Lower LH
Part# 8119453010 - LH Headlamp Protector Retainer Upper LH

Instead of throwing the 2009 bumper away, anybody want it for free? It's definately repairable. Just the bottom of the bumper has two cracks, but as you can see in the picture above with the bandages, it's in ok condition but up close, there are stress cracks in the clear coat where the object hit it.

None of these stuff except the headlight and foglight are for sale yet until I finish the conversion. I'll be posting in the sale section when everything are ready for sale.
