Default 2nd row headrests

Just noticed this the other day while i was installing my JP headrest the the 2nd row headrest. WHen i took the headrests off the back side of the leather on the headrests were all hard and stiff. Is this normal???? I have never took them off b4 to know if they were soft and supple like the front side of the headrests.

My car is usually parked outside. Do you guys thing the heat from the sun dried out the leather??? How can i fix this???

Mine is not hard. I think you are right that the sun might have dried it out. Do you condition your leather?

I'd like to think the damage has already been done so conditioner won't help... but let us know if it fixes it

I have damaged rear headrests too
