I forgot to mention my own theory on this. I have a feeling the 2011 IS print brochure was printed months ago. At some point, Lexus must have dropped the 10 spoke 18" design. So the wheels I want probably don't even exist.

As for the "Build Your Own IS" feature on the web site, obviously it's out of date and someone forgot to remove the 2010 5 spoke wheel design and replace it with whatever the heck is available for 2011.

I should also note that the FL and FT codes l posted above were taken from the Edmunds site. In my experience, Edmunds is very accurate when it comes to this kind of information. The Lexus CSR asked me where I got those codes. As soon as I mentioned the Edmunds site, she scoffed and insisted that only the Lexus site is accurate. Well, obviously not since it's still showing a 2010 design that is not listed in the 2011 print brocure or ebrochure!

^^ the wheel that you want, i.e. "18-in 10 spoke alloy wheels with Dark Graphite finish AVAILABLE (RWD A/T)" is the 18" F-Sport Package wheel, i.e. pic 3 in post #4.

That might be why that option didn't show in "Build your own IS" since it only comes with the factory F-Sport Package.

Damn. I think you're right now that I look at it.

But that doesn't explain why the "Build your own IS" site is still showing the 2010 18's.

I guess I'm stuck with those hideous 5-spoke 18's, unless I go with the 17's.

Well, I took a look and here are some pictures from MY ordering system for the 2011 IS. (this is from Corporate by the way, so I'm not sure if these are available in select regions only.....)

Accessory code FL is described as "18" Liquid Graphite Finish Alloy Wheels w/225/40R18 Front+255/40R18 Rear All-Season Tires"

Accessory code FT is described as "18" Liquid Graphite Finish Alloy Wheels w/225/40R18 Front+55/40R18 Rear Summer Tires"

I attached the images that are provided....FT appears to be the old 2010 wheel though...

The print brochure picture you posted is very clear to me...

You are looking at what I posted earlier and what you thought it was not in your orginal posts..

18" Factory F-Sport Wheels which come in Dark Graphite finish with Black center cap, found as standard equipment on the F-Sport Factory Pkg

Guys, he is asking specifically about FL and FT wheels.

18" F-Sport wheels are neither of those codes. Theses wheels are part of a package only, which are the following codes:

FJ (F-Sport Package (18" with All-Season Tires))

FK (F-Sport Package (18" with Summer Tires))

See my post above..........

Saw your posts above

My guess is that they haven't pulled the old codes yet...

I can't see Lexus offering old year wheel design on their new 2011's.

or they haven't updated the pics on the ordering system just yet..

The paper brochure seems spot on..

The codes should be accurate...the pictures, i don't know. But they just updated the vehicle ordering system (literally, it was down for a week and was just accessible again today) so...i would hope they put the right information in hahaha

edit: I'll keep checking for updates and post (if any)

Thanks for the input everyone.

I guess FL and FT are the exact same 5-spoke "Liquid Graphite" wheels, only the tires are different (all season vs. summer).

The "Build your IS" system is definitely wrong. The photos posted by IntegresS above show 2010 wheels. No doubt about that.

Am I the only one who finds the 2011 5-spoke 18's hideous? I would love to get the 18" F-sports, but I can't order the F package because the "microfiber insert" seats would drive me nuts. Maybe there's some way the dealership would be willing to swap out the FL wheels for something else? Or maybe I should just get the car with the 17's and buy aftermarket? ...I just hate to do that with a leased vehicle.
