Default Need help with tapping wire for aftermarket AMP setup please

Hi all,

I am trying to hook up a system in my girlfriends 2008 IS350 non ML. I've ran all the cables but having trouble with the remote wire and which speaker wire to tap into.

Running 12" Kicker CVR sub and Kicker amp

Remote Wire
I have read on other forums to tap into the thinnest orange wire on the third connector closest to the back, but the thinnest orange wire is on the middle connector. I see a orange wire on the third connector, but it is bigger than the one in the middle connector. I used a test light and the thin orange wire lights up when the car is on. It does not light up on the orange wire in the third connector Is this the right one?

Speaker Wire
I have read to tap into the Brown (+) & Lime Green (-) and Pink (+) Sky Blue (-) to both sets of these wires. Which connector is these wires on? I see the same colors on all 3 connectors. I am thinking it's the middle connector since those wires are smaller, but not sure. Do I need to tap both evern though I'm just running 1 subwoofer?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciatedAttached Thumbnails

i tapped my remote wire into the fuse box becaues its 12v. the orange wire others talked about is only 6v. theres a number of cheaper amps that work off 6v but mines had to be 12v.

Ok that makes sense. Thought it might be the amp so I tested the amp in my car this morning and it turned on.
