Wondering if running these would mess up the AWD system. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Hi, I'm still a little confused, can the is350 18in staggered wheel fit a is250 awd as-is? or do i have to change the tire size in the rear to 255/35R18 in order to make them fit the car. also would the ride be rougher with having 35 series tires on the rear.

Factory Set-UP
is250 AWD ---------------is350 Rwd staggered
Front 225/45R17-----------Front 225/40R18
Rear 225/45R17-----------Rear 255/40R18

I plan on getting some 20"X8.5 with offset 38 wheels on my IS250 awd and wanted to know if these tires will fit on these rims: 235/35/20?

I plan on adding coilovers later to lower the car.

Does anyone have any pictures of 20s on their awd 250 without having it lowered? I would like what it would look like with these rims

here's my awd stock suspension with 20s.
I agree that a 1-2 inch drop may look better, but I'll be driving this in the winter, so Im not going to mess with the ride height.

I have been reading, but could not find infor on following specs:

Bolt pattern : 5 x 114.3

Size : 19 x 8.5 (F) & 19 x 9.5 (R)

Offset : 38mm (F) & 45mm (R)

Hub Size : 60.2mm

Will this work? What size tires to ensure no messing up AWD system? Thanks for any help.

Thanks Sleekbrian. If you do it soon and have pics would love to see them. Also are you lowering yours? Any modifications needed to run these, im thinking not, but if you know otherwise.

Thats the set up I am running. dropped it 1.25 on some megan springs. Didnt even have to roll my fenders. Probably would have if I had spacers but I have no interest in that.

heres some pics before the drop. totally monster trucking.

After the drop

1.25 was perfect for me. This is my only car and I like being able to get around without scraping or rubbing.
more pics can be seen here http://public.fotki.com/remydee/the-is-journal

Diameter: 19 inches

Width: 8.5J Front

10J Rear

Offsets: ET 35 front / ET 43 rear

Bolt pattern: 5x114.3

Centerbore: 73.1/67.1 (hub centric rings are included)

What tires should i run with this?
I know the fronts i can do 235/35/19 and itll only be 0.20% slower, but can you help me with the rear? Im not sure how the whole stretching tires thing works

F - 19x9__40mm offset__tire 235/35/19
R - 19x9__34mm offset__tire 235/35/19

Is this the only spec, that AWD can go with out staggered?

I've picked up a set of staggered IS350 wheels but I want all the wheels to be the same size for my AWD so I'll have to pick up a pair of either 8.5" or 8" which leads me to my question.... I'm wondering if I can run the 8.5 width rears all around or should I run 8" all around? .

Another questions is any of you members have issues with AWD binding at full lock with larger or staggered wheels?

Thanks!
