Will those Wheels Fit an IS250 AWD - Part Uno
#421
Curious if I will have any problems since I already ordered the wheels lol running 19x9.5+22 F and 19x10.5+22 R. Just lowered on road magnet springs(2inch drop) for now, have 235/35 for the front and 265/30 for the rears. Fenders will be rolled and slight pull for the rears..... Anything els I will have to worry about?

Help... been reading all these forums for days and can't be sure the following setup will work with no fender mods or rubbing.
Lowered on F-Sport springs, currently on 225/45/17 +45 with about an inch gap between tire and fender in the front, and 3/4 inch in the back.
Looking at 2 possibilities:
18x8.5 +35 with 225/40 up front
18x9.5 +40 with 255/35 in the back
OR
18x8.5 +35 with 235/40 up front
18x9.5 +40 with 265/35 in the back
I'm not a fan of the stretched tire look which is why I'm thinking more of option 2 BUT i know that option will fill the wheel well a bit more (0.24") practically eliminating any tire gap. It's my daily driver and roads here in Quebec are disgusting (pot holes and cracks everywhere) so I don't want rubbing or anything.
I have the wheels already, just need to make a decision on tire size now. If anyone has these setups, shoot me a message please. Any help is appreciated.

Hey been searching on the site for a few days haven't seen anyone with my tire set-up so i want to make sure i don't have any problems when i set it all up.
I plan on running a a square set up 19 x 8.5 235/35/19 wit a 47 offset
Just want to make sure if their is going to be any rubbing at all wit stock springs, Im in out of NYC often so I'm not trying to lower unless i have to.
If i do it would be on F-sport lowering springs for a conservative drop.

Hey KnuckyT.
I was where you are with figuring out the fitment of wheels. With that set up, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. OEM is 225/45/17 with an offset of +45 on an 8 inch wheel if I remember right. With the 8.5" wheel and a higher offset, you'll be moving the wheel 0.3 inches closer to the suspension parts and also sticking out about 0.1 inches. Just double check your clearance between the inside of the wheel and your suspension but it should be ok.
I like to use this tool to figure out how the wheels and tires will fit: http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp
Can I ask why you're going higher with your offset?

whats your suspension set up and does it vibrate?
Thats the set up I am running. dropped it 1.25 on some megan springs. Didnt even have to roll my fenders. Probably would have if I had spacers but I have no interest in that.
heres some pics before the drop. totally monster trucking.
After the drop
1.25 was perfect for me. This is my only car and I like being able to get around without scraping or rubbing.
more pics can be seen here http://public.fotki.com/remydee/the-is-journal

From the link I mentioned earlier, here's what they determined with +43 offset as compared to the stock setup with 17 inch wheels:
Suspension clearance: Package 2 is 3 mm (0.1'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.
Fenders clearance: Package 2 will stick out 7 mm (0.3'') farther. Acceptable for most cars.
Wheelwells clearance: Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 7 mm. Acceptable for most cars.
SPEEDOMETER: When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.2mph (98.5km/h): 2% faster.
I have 18x8.5 +35 on 235/40 in the front and there are no issues whatsoever. The +43 will be tucked in a bit more than that but I think you'll be fine seeing as you'll only be 0.1 inches closer to the suspension parts.

Hey what's up everyone! New member here but I've been reading a lot of threads the last couple of weeks.
I'm going to be lowered on H&R sport springs and my wheels will be 20x8.5 offset 38 all around. What size tires would you suggest? Thanks in advance. Some pictures would be nice to see
225/30/20?
235/30/20?
235/35/20?

How do I know what offest my rims are? I plan on buying Vossen CVTs but I dont know how wide I can go. I am lowered 1.25" on Megan but I plan on bagging. I dont know if I want a staggered setup though either.
