I have yet to regret anything, the only thing I'd probably go back and change is that I think I should have gone with 15mm rear spacers instead of the 20mm. I still like the 20mm, I just think 15mm would have been more what I was going for.

Getting 275 tires for my 10" rear then stretchin 245s and having to go though the trouble of selling my 275 for a loss.

And my vertex sides & rear. Getting sick of it. But I guess I had to get it to know lol

Could you elaborate for more detail?

I guess you rolled the lip right?

When I had my coilovers installed I needed them to modify the front fender so the car could ride a bit lower (previously was on Tein S-techs). So there is a mix of rolling and grinding, but it's the grinding that caused the problem. The guy ground out some areas so that all there is left is the outer sheet metal.

Well since it's not rolled over, it's very weak, you can bend it with your hand. So I suppose the wheel must have touched the fender as I went into a steep parking lot entrance; the result is now the fender looks a bit wavy right around the wheel arch.

I don't really see an easy fix for this and I'm not sure if a body shop can really do much to fix it, or if I need a new fender.

isthrizzy, thanks for your explanation.

Lesson learnt

Have you managed to roll without cracking the paint?

lol @ all the people regretting coilovers cause they scrape.

they are coils just raise the car, plus you havent heard scraping until you have gotten stuck on a speed bump or been stuck in a driveway, 3-wheelin. So ya cant have much to worry about. Personally i like scraping everywhere, but thats just me

Here's one problem - the NAV on the IS isn't great in terms of reliability, if you search you'll find that they often stop working after some time... mine broke at 70k miles (it's a 2006). Luckily my extended warranty covered the $2k for a new one. If I had done the NAV hack, there's a high likelihood that this would not have been covered. So I am pretty happy I never did the hack....
