Default LED Interior Lighting Kit

Has anyone purchased the LED Interior Lighting kit from Sewell? Is it worth buying the kit or am I better off buying each bulb individually?

those are really expensive. i got mine off ebay, with the built in plates and everything. like for the rear, it had 1 plug in with like 15 leds on the plate. the front was shaped to fit in the housing, a fat u-shaped one with like 35 leds or so?

Read this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...de-w-pics.html V-LED high power would be a better option if you're looking for the brightest possible interior lighting, otherwise the Sewell kit is fine.

You have a link? Would be cool to compare to my setup.

For the kit we offer, we didn't go after the brighter is better bit, but more of subtlety is best. We did our best trying to mimic the existing interior LED's for luminosity without bringing too much glare and blinding light to the driver.

I can say with certainty when it comes to lighting, opinions are all over the place. Some like the kit we offer while some don't. Some think our price is right on, while others think we're double the price as everyone else. Whatever the case maybe, we offer a LED interior lighting kit that we've sold well over 200 kits since this time last year.

If you want to make your garage glow in the dark, the kit we offer isn't for you. Also, there's tons of companies out there making LED's. We're just 1 in a 1000 offering the bulbs for the interior of your IS.

Be mindful in all this, the kit we offer does include the clear door lens with an LED in each.

Hope that helps.

Darrel

^ Clear door lens + LED hi power flank from Vleds = ground lights up and side of the car. Best visibility for when your parked at night in that dark parking lot with no lights.

I got the set last December, installed in January, and the left side dome light went out in May!! I was very disappointed. I PM'd Sewell about this, and they said they'd get back to me. Alas no response. Brociouz gave me a V-LED that I put into the middle dome light and moved the one from the kit to the left. The V-LED IS significantly brighter. My $0.02
