yup, no problem what so ever. just dont leave it attached to the windshield, not only so nobody steals it, but the heat can **** it up.

 

i leave my v1 in the car, but it's mounted underneath the rear view mirror (w/ an aftermarket custom mount).

while it stays out of the sun, it does bake in the car for extended periods (it's going through its third summer). still works to this day.
