i think it is lame, no one will look at your exhaust tip and be like oh cool urs is little bigger than stock. Bet even if you drive next to a stock IS on a freeway, one has to really look at the two cars to be like oh... something is different with the exhaust tips, whats the chance of people doing that? almost never

Do you modify your car for other people? And yes, a stock 2" tip does look much smaller than a 4" tip when driving behind.

Wow, chill. There are other reasons besides want people to go gaga over your mods, which I don't care about. I did it because I never liked the stock tips and was hoping these would fill out the holes better.

Agreed, and also +1 on whoever said it fills out the hole better. The bottom line is that most mods on our cars are for visual effect after all, right? I mean, hell, someone driving on the freeway isn't even going to notice the sway bars! I do wish our cars had dual twin exhaust tips, which would give a meaner look. The big round void on the bumper really limits our choices.

I'll probably throw the 4" Magnaflow tips on mine, because cost of a decent, new exhaust vs. the performance gained is not significant, IMHO.

dubsesd, do you have anymore details of the magnaflow exhaust tips? like diameter size or model name? I've looked thru their catalogue awhile ago but nothing showed up like that. looks real subtle yet slightly aggressive but not ricey. I was looking to switch it up from my S2K exhaust tips. Anyone trade ?? Lol

35177 is for a 2.25" outlet. Ours are 2.5".

Does anyone have an update to the exact P/N to order for the Magnaflow exhaust tips? I want to order a set of these as a Christmas gift to myself

So I'm pretty frustrated myself. Right now intact the Magnaflow 35177s AND some Borla 20156 tips that look awesome, but our 2.5" pipes are apparently ribbed (for pleasure?) and the Borla tips (which are clamp-on) don't go all the way in! I'd have to get them cut and welded (which I'm seriously considering at this point). The wife can't be too happy with multiple exhaust tip deliveries several times in the same week!! Although I am also considering the Borla 20155s.

anyone else have any suggestions for replacement tips... One of my factory tips fell off somewhere and now I need to replace both to match... trying to decide what looks the best for a "stock" like appearance (but slightly bigger) =)

^^^^^I like the S2000 AP2 tips but a lot of people think it protrudes too much if you don't have a rear lip.
