my vote goes to the JDM ones. I have them n i personally think they look better than the new 09+ OEM Style ones. Looks much cleaner and none of that extra chrome stuff on the side mirror covers. Just my .02

Plus JDM ones attracts all the ladies =)

People need to stop calling them JDM when they are made in Taiwan. (im talking about the ones nigel sells etc). Nigel has never claimed it to be from Japan too...

JDM=Japanese Domestic Market, as in what people in Japan use - it doesn't specifically refer to the country the product was manufactured in. I suspect a whole lot of "JDM" parts are made in Taiwan, China etc. By the same token, a lot of American cars are made in Mexico, but that doesn't make them Mexican cars.

Back to the topic at hand, this vendor is shady: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...ml#post5494652. I don't think he's actually posted a picture of his actual product. Something's really off about the whole situation.

I'm trying to to give him a fair shot, but something isn't right when a vendor won't even post a picture of their actual product. He keeps posting stock images of the '09+ side mirror. It's disingenuous, at best.

If you check his vendor thread (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...-is-es-18.html), I even offered to go to his office since it's ~15 minutes from my workplace. Seems like he's giving me the run around still: "It's an office only. Most item shipped from SoCal, san diego."

He is questionable and pushy, in the pm's was requesting my paypal info to request money but saying that the item is genuine oem part but then saying it is not made by lexus is just lying.

So I received a PM from the vendor. He says he's trying to arrange for me to check it out in person at a local Lexus dealership. We'll see what happens and I'll report back to you guys.

Hahaha, tempting, but I think I'll wait for the 3IS to switch cars. I hope they come out with a non-convertible coupe for the next IS-F, I'll be one of those freaks waiting outside the dealership in a tent 2 weeks before they start selling them.

3IS wont be here forawhile considering they just started making the coupe. I say 2014 ish..but thats just my guess. I asked Lexus and they just said minor revisions will be happening for the 2011 IS. So it could be 2012, 2013 or even 2015, who knows.


But to answer your question and get back on topic. 09+ mirrors FTW!
