I have recently purchased a 2007 silver lexus is250. I was wondering how everyone on the forums approached modding their cars. I have two options i can start with looks, swap out lights and redo dash to get rid of the mahagony plastic, or I can go straight into performance by upgrading the intake and exhaust. I am willing to consider any suggestions including some ideas on what I can actually mod.

Thanks for your time.

Im going to swap out all the inside lights and i'm considering putting some halos on.

with 5k... you can get drop rims and GFX at the very least... or maybe some other kits... and it'll look perfect

Go with the looks. I don't think there's as much you can do with the 250 compared to the 350 in the power department. I'm going looks only for that reason

I would use the $5000 for both (unless you plan to spend half or more on the rims)

If you were wanting more power that 5k would've gone a lot further in getting a 350 instead of a 250. You can't add half as much power to a 250 for twice as much money.

Lots you can do for looks though
