Considering you're in highschool, with a Lexus IS... yea. The people with nice luxury cars always tend to get keyed, regardless of if u have haters there or not.
I bet your parents regret buying you this car now. I highly doubt you're making the full payment or full insurance payment on it.
Jussayin. No matter how wealthy I am, or how much i'd wanna spoil my highschool kid so they can be 'cool', this was just a bad move.

Need to learn how to move up yourself.
Sure its their choice to do so, but its not the best choice. NOW look what happened. It surely could have not been the OP's fault at all. But it attracts negative attention. I dont blame u man dont get me wrong. Really, I blame your parents. Now they have to deal with it. You wont be making any of the insurance calls or paying the rest of the cost so you're just chillin.

Sorry but my parent's are too wise to let me drive an IS350 if I was in high school. Same effect as giving a highschool girl a $1000 purse. Whats next after that? More 1000+ purses.

same thing happened to me back in 93 in high school dam haters i was rockin a ls400 brand new off the lot funny still rockin that ls 400 ,dont worry about them they are just jealous

LOL, what makes you think your parents are wiser than his? just because you didnt get a nice car? What if the op drove a beat up 98 civic and got keyed? Would that be different? You dont know if the person that keyed him, has issues with him. Or decided to key cars for fun, since the person that committed this act keyed other cars around him. I got my IS when i was 16. And my car was considered avg in my hs. Never got keyed. Some people just respect other people's personal belongs with respect, while others dont.
