My Car almost Killed me tonite.

Okay i was driving back to base. I was doing about 70mph everything seemed fine when all of a sudden the P/S light came on and the steering wheel jerked to the right really hard. Luckly I was able to grab a hold of it and keep it straight until i could pull over and turn the car off. I turned the car back on and it was normal again.

Ive had the recall for the steering done already when i bought the car but the light had gone of again once before and i turned it off and back on the car was fine. I took into the dealer and they said they checked it and it seemed fine and that they had re calibrated the steering. AND NOW THIS HAPPENS. I am pissed off corporate is closed at the time and so is my dealer. Im going to have to wait till tommorow to get a hold of someone.

Im scared to even drive my car right know. If the dealer wants the car they can come pick it up and drop off a loaner.

Oh damn, I'm glad to hear that you're alive. Lexus needs to do something about this. That video of the IS going crazy scared the **** out of me.

Real talk, take the possessed steering wheel video and take it to your local news. As it is the SUV Lexus is getting recalled because of roll overs. Its gonna mess up lexus image, but if you go to the media, they will fix the problem.

WTF is going on with some of these cars? I just bought and 07 IS knowing about all the stuff that has been going on. But hearing another issue like this is scaring the ***** out of me. Im starting to think twice weather I made the right decision or not.....

A little overboard dont you think? I'd give the dealer a try first....

Isn't the possessed steering wheel caused by aftermarket HID ballasts being too close to the computer or something?
