Default car battery??

just wondering if anyone on here have replace their battery in their car after 50K miles?? well today i was changing my headlights and i had the light on without the car being on for more than 10 minutes, and my car wouldnt start, so im wondering is it my battery that needs to be replace?? thanks

i'm @ 51k, and i have not needed to replace my battery... yet.

that is strange, I did not have to change my bat. around 50K..
