I say if they are not willing to change the windshield to an OEM one walk away from the deal now.
#1 rule of thumb when shopping for a car is (Do not fall in love with the car) once you show them that they won't budge for ****.
I personaly walked away from 2 other IS's before I bought my current one. One of those cars was because the dealer would not replace the tires when all four where toast. Take it this was a certified used car.

I agree!! Before I got Micaiah, I wanted a Glacier Frost one reaaaaaaaaaal bad. But I noticed the paint looked funny on the rear fender/bumper. It was obviously hit and it didn't match. I had asked about the accident and the dealer told me it was never hit. Upon closer look, the car definitely was repainted. Hardly any sparkle and the color was way off.
I told him that I'd like to find out if it's been hit because I really believe it was, I'd like to know the extent of the damage and a repaint should I decide to purchase this car.
He didn't want to even ASK the manager if this was a possibility. He swore up and down that the car wasn't hit, the paint was fine and it's just the angle of the sun, etc.
So off the lot I went.
The next day he called me and said they would repaint the vehicle and to come back to sign the papers.
I told him that I had already gotten one from another dealer.
Stick to your guns. If you want the OEM, demand it. You are paying for a premium car.

Consider to what others are saying.
If you paid for a Lexus, you should be getting 100% Lexus or better. I remember paying close to $500 for aftermarket front windshield, so the OEM should cost $800+. If you want that car badly, talk the price down by another $1000 on what they are willing to offer.
