Where can I find used or rebuilt 2007 IS250 CV Axles for AWD?
I have called everywhere today. Online websites (JC, AutoCar, Summit,) and CarID and no one has any instock.
Will the RWD axle on this model fit the AWD vehicle? Are they different? Lenght? There are a lot of RWD ones.
CarID said their manufacture will rebuild yours but its a 4 week turnaround.
Any help please?

In my search for the same axles, the rear ones are different on the AWD and RWD. Something about the axle being thicker for the RWD versions because they have a larger differential than the AWD ones or the sort

Thank you both for the responses. I searched everywhere and find a couple used ones. I confirmed the 2nd gen AWD ones. Explained to the rep had to fit the 07 model.
Let's hope they send the correct ones.
Thanks for the help.

I bought a left and right rear.
Hope that helps.

Its weird... Autozone, Advanced, all carry the RWD axles. None of them can get the AWD axles for the rear vehicle.
It shows that is not available any longer in their systems.
Then some of the online.. JC and others say they do not have the rear AWD and its showing they cannot get them.
If anyone has any other info here it is appreciated.
Do not know why the AWD are so hard to find.

I also wanted to ask if anyone has installed these before? I have installed CV axles in the past, but never in a Lexus before.
Is there anything special I need to know before doing it? Generally, they just pull out of the splines, then you insert back in. I didnt know if a Lexus, or Lexus AWD if anything has to be done differently?
I went ahead and picked up 4 seals ( 2 for each side) from Lexus today to replace while replacing the CV Axles. Figured I do not want them leaking and wearing prematurely again.
Anything else I need to know while installing?
Thanks for the help guys.

Well wouldn't you know it guys received the 2 rear CV axles and guess what???? Yup one was exactly right at 2 inches longer than the other.
Geeezzzz!!!
Called the place I got them and it order and tickets say its off the same vehicle which is impossible as they cant fit. The correct one for my 07 IS250 AWD is 31.5 inches long.
The other that will not fit is 33.5 almost. WTF?
So they must have sent me the wrong one or stocked the wrong one in. I called them and they are willing to refund as they do not have the other side. WOW!!
Wonder if the longer one is from a 09 and above? They look identital except the length. Well replacing the one side anyway for now. Sooooo frustrating. Back to looking for one again for the Right Rear Passenger side.
Hey B16da- I did check here in TN, but cant find anywhere that actually will rebuild them . One axle shop said they used too, but said the cost wasnt worth it.
If anyone knows anywhere that will rebuild in TN let me know.
Thanks,

The LH and RH axles are different. I don't know what the exact length is for both (they may be the same, I don't know what exactly the differences are), but they're not the same.
I believe the LH side is about 1-2 in shorter than the RH side, but not 100% sure on that for AWD.

Jeff-
This is really key if true. I did not know this nor would have ever guessed it. So you are saying the Left Rear ( Drivers Side) AWD is 2 inches shorter than the Right Rear ( Passengers Side) AWD?
One is like 31. 5 inches and the other is 33. 5.
I would never have ever guessed this. Before I send back I just wanted to confirm with you as I might have the correct part and just do not know it. WOW!!
