Looking to get a couple good inputs here. Driving a 2012 IS250 AWD and looking at buying 19”x8.5” +35 offset rims with 235/35/19 tires for the front and 19”x9.5” +40 offset rims with 265/30/19 tires. Not lowering right away and was hoping to get some input on that.
Thanks

They will fit without any issues. Just not sure those different tire sizes work on an AWD. As far as I know an AWD needs equal diameter tires on all 4 corners, but I'm not sure. We don't have AWD's in Europe so never really looked into it. Maybe some guys with AWD's can tell you for sure.

Yep, on AWD cars, the diameter of the front wheels should be as close to the diameter of the rear wheels as possible. I think most go with the rule that a 3% difference in diameter between front and rear is the absolute most you can get away with, but I'm not sure why. I ran staggered wheels that had less than 2% difference on my AWD and had no issues.

I’m thinking about getting wheels the the spec 19x9.5 +22/ 19x10.5 +22 but don’t know about tires and if they will even fit. Does anyone know if they will fit and what size tires might work. The car is a 2011 and will be on coilover.

Looking into purchasing new wheels. Probably going to stay with 18’s. I’m interested in a set of KMC KM703 18x8.5 / 18x9.5 35 offset for both. From what I have read there shouldn’t be a problem with fitting. But I really like the look of the deeper wheel in the rear. How do I figure out how to get this look ? Thanks to whoever owns the car in the pic.

Default Offset

I have read so many old pages and think I know what I want for rims. But now I have found different offset options. What is the most offset I can go with in the rear without doing any mods. I want 18x9.5 was thinking of +35 with a 275-35 tire. Would a +20-+30 also fit ? I’m currently stock height probably going to do f sport springs when I do rear struts this summer. Thanks for any help there’s just so much info and options.

Hey guys, first post here.

I'm looking to get some input here as I'm new to this car.

I want these wheels, Japan Racing JR11's.

https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wh...cing-coilovers

However, I want a flush setup, not a tucked. I definitely want 19 inch and the deep look at the rear and slightly noticeable stretched tires all round and that fat *** and wide tires look at the rear.

What would be the maximum width I can go at the rear without rubbing and at the front without grinding against the wishbone?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

225/40R18 on 18x8.5 +35 offset (possibly run 18x9.5 +35 with a 225/40?)

255/40R18 on 18x9.5 +35 offset (also thinking maybe 245/40?)

Anyone on here run these specs on their 2IS? I've seen a couple pictures floating around but none of them say if they rubbed or not. I'm dropped on H&R Lowering springs too. Any help would be great!

Does anyone know the offset of the stock wheels on a 2008 IS350? I'm trying to make the fronts poke and the rears flushed.
All I know is if I get spacers, 15mm on front will poke and 20mm on the rear will flush.
Now all I have to do is add numbers but I don't know the offset of the stock wheels.

Should be 45 offset front and 50 offset rear for stock wheels. 15mm front and 20mm rear should make the wheels sit pretty flush.

Stock 8.0 and 8.5 inch wheels with 15mm front and 25mm on back will make it flush with the fenders.

I currently have a 1st gen IS300 with a front brake conversion from an IS350. I am looking at wheels for the vehicle and I have found a nice set of BBS RGRs. They are 18x7.5 +45.

My concern is if they will fit over the larger IS350 calipers. I have looked far and wide, but I haven't seen a 2G or 3G IS350 with 18in RGRs.

Lost of info I tried the search function with minimal luck with my particular question.

Looking to buy the following wheels sizes, I need to know will they fit and any tire size recommendations for this size wheel to minimize rubbing and avoid rolling the fender. I have a 2012 IS250 rwd

19x8.5 35et
19x9.5 35et

Not lowered at the moment, but more than likely I will get coilovers, but if you are running springs and a similar wheel set up please let me know what lowering springs you are running.

Thanks a bunch for any info, this is my first post
