18x8.5 + 35 - 235/40/18
18x10 +25 - 265/35/18

How much work will be needed? :\

rolled fenders + shaved fender tabs. front and rear.

i don't think you can do 265/35-18 in the rear without a light pull while rolling. the fronts should be fine.

If I went with a smaller tire, do you think it would be better in the rear?

245/35-19 is a better fit in the rear than 255/35-19.

Thanks projectdna! One more question...

How about I go...
F: 19 x 9 +18, R: 19 x 10 +17 instead of...
F: 19 x 9.5 +24, R: 19 x 10.5 +23?

Should I go for 9 and 10 setup or 9.5 and 10.5 setup?

Thanks!

Those sets have essentially the same amount of poke. Only difference is youd have more tire/wheel width inside your fender. I'd go 9/10 or 9/10.5 just because i dont feel necessary having a wide front wheel (if your lip size is the same, like yours would be) .

for high-offset wheel specs, go with wider wheel specs to run wider tires.

for low-offset wheel specs, go with the narrower specs to run narrower tires for maximum fender-tire clearance.

Default Tire size

I'm thinking of picking up some Varrstoen 1.1.2 lm reps cuz they are so affordable. I'm looking at

19x9.5 +22 front
19x11 +25 rear

I plan to do some fender work to get these on without rubbing. Do you think that's feasible?

Also what tire size should I be looking at for good clearance without tire stretching to an unsafe point?

Thanks!

so you're going to do all that fender work and run stretched tires on a set of replica wheels?

/OT

it's feasible, but you'll have to roll your fenders completely flat AND shave the fender tabs. and while you're getting your fenders rolled flat, you'll need to get a slight pull.

225/35-19 + 255/35-19. don't try to run anything wider unless you have a serious pull, unless you don't mind your tires and fenders meeting each other each time there's a load on your suspension.

you shouldn't.

backspacing for 11" +35 is ~0.7" more than the backspacing for oem's (8.5" +50).
How about 19 x 11" +30? Enough backspacing? 255 tires ok? Or 245? Thx!

Work Schwert SC1's

19x8.5 ET32 5x120 fronts
19x9.5 ET35 5x120 rears

Will these fit my IS250? I'm planning to get the car dropped by atleast 1.5" both front and back, am I going to to need spacers and fender rolling? thanks!

Your gonna need a BMW to fit those. Cause Lexus is 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

Is there any way I can get these to fit on my IS250? What about some bolt pattern converters assuming that they exist?

If you haven't purchased them yet, go looking for a different set of wheels. Easier, and less headaches.
