IMO i think it looks SICK!! He stated $1200 for material. I can do that. The problem is the installation.... I bet ill cost near 2k to get it done. I think mayve i can do the easier parts myself like the roof, hood, doors..... maybe the fenders too.. But the trunk and the bumpers are another story....

Man... Anyone in Albuquerque willing to lend a hand?? I really don't think anyone from CL is close enough to me, darn.

Ok im going to give it a shot.... well I will order enough for the roof next week (start safe, i wanted to do the roof eatherway)

What will i need? A heat gun and ????

Here is were i REALLY need your help with this 4 question guys so don't let me down...
1: My hood and a fender have many small chips. Like 3 that you can see the primer and 2 were you can see the plain metal. If i just wrap over them will it bubble up or cause anything bad?? I really need to know this. Ill try to post pictures tomorrow to show you guys how bad it is.

2: I read that the 3m stuff is REUSABLE. Is this true? I see a lot of it on ebay and other places for extremely cheap prices for used 3m vinyl. Any comments on this from experts?? This could cut down my cost like 75%

3: Is it possible to clear coat over the vinyl??

4: how much will i need for the roof?? is a 4x4 cut big enough?? Its late and i cant go out to measure it. I can even use the left over from the sun roof to do the interior or the grill...

Also what vendor here in CL sells 3m wrapping and what deal can you (if they are reading this) guys give me??

Im not sure on clearing the vinyl.
I wouldnt buy used vinyl, but i havent heard anything for me not to. but i would rather be the first to form the vinyl, because pulling those wrinkles is a pain in the ****.

aerotect is a vendor on here and the ship very fast and customer service is great.

I just read on the 3m website that IT CAN be clear coated.

Yea used vinyl i bet its streatched.

I went to aerotect's website real quick and did't not see a link to order or prices. I only saw the link were it tells you to have your Shop contact them for orders.

hmmm i need to contact that guy but forgot my account for THAT forum. need to ask for pictures from the inside of the door, under fenders and all the places were he cut.. Is the vinyl just cut there and the original car color takes over? i would prefer wrapping everything were the paint shows and not leave any vinyl cuts visible.

If you have account on THAT forum can you please ask him for a email or a way i can contact him?

Well my sample should come in this week. Then ill order the roof. With the sample ill try to wrap something small and ultra complex to see how hard it is to do.

1. i would use touch up paint from the dealer to fill in the missing paint areas.

2. DONT buy used vinyl

4. i dont see a point in clear coating it
