Unhappy is possible to downgrade the navigation to a non-navigation system in a lexus is250

Hi, guys I hope you all are doing well, i would like to know if is possible to downgrade a navigation system in a lexus is250 2006 to a non-navigation system, I have a lexus is250 2006 and is just annoying to to be touching the screen everytime i want to customize the AC and i would like to know if this is possible, I know the wiring and the plugs are different in the back, i already have the non-navigation console head. the reason why I want to downgrade is because the navigation does not work in my country and i like more bottoms for controlling the ac instead of touch screen.
have you ever seen someone has done this or do you know if this is possible to make it work?

thanks beforehand from Dominican republic.

I'm about 90% positive you can do this.

If I remember correctly. I believe gearbangin on the ISF build threads went to a non navi unit from a factory navi for weight savings. He had no issues (if it was him)

Ive seen the units go for sale on ebay for 50 dollars. Worth a shot at that price.

Why not install it yourself? Wires should be plug and play. I would think that, there should only be a few that don't plug into the back, i.e. back up camera

Wires and connectors are absolutely NOT plug-and-play. Search is your friend: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...o-non-nav.html
