Default Hello.....

Just wanted to introduce my self and say Hi. My name is Rudso, just recently traded in my 03 Audi A4 for a 2010 Lexus IS250 and I'm sooo glad I went with a Lexus. I didn't post much on the Audi Forums but looks like the guys here are a little more "relaxed".

Anyways, I'm 23, work full time and go to school full time in SoCal. I'm not a big mod guy, I learned my lesson with the Audi , but I plan on doing at least small thing like heavy tint, lights, and maybe powder coat the stock rims black. Speaking of which comes my first question, can you powder coat chrome rims?

I didn't get a chance to take some pics of my car so I just took a quick one parked next to my sisters IS.......... I went black.

Welcome to the Lexus family. The people here on the forum are awesome.

I know you say you're not a "big mod" guy but if you stay on this forum long enough you'll want to mod your IS more and more.

I am not a big mod guy either, just have the GFX, fsport sway bar (a must have!), fsport intake, and fsport spring, along with the basics like tint. Btw what college do you go to?

Welcome To CL. "We'll make you broke" ahahah j/k! Nice trade up. To answer your question i think its possible to chrome out a wheel. Not sure if they powdercoat it or not though.

Welcome! I too came from a 2003 A4. It was a big adjustment going from Audi to Lexus. Some things good and some things not so good. But overall, GOOD!

Thanks for the welcome guys! It is going to be hard not to do TOO much moding with all the pictures you guys post. lol

darkdream, I'm currently at CSUN for Economics.

kevetard, close guess on Santa Monica, but I got mine from Van Nuys and sister got her from Glendale (where we live).

Fizzboy7, just curious what do you miss from the 03 A4? Maybe it's because I just got it a week ago but I'm having a hard time finding something that I miss from the Audi? Rusnak had great service........ until your warranty expires haha......... but I haven't gotten the pleasure of taking my car to the dealership yet. The turbo made a nice sound on cold days with an open air intake but other than that I can't think of anything else that I miss.

Again thanks for the welcome, I'm looking forward to wards sticking around here for a while.
