Hmm, never noticed a vibration problem, but maybe I just never noticed. I am curious to see other reviews to see how the steering feel has changed.

try asking around for help from US members whether they're willing to buy one and you can pay the additional shipping to canada

i just put in my order for one with lexus of westminster. however they told me all the steering dampers were on back-ordered, so how are you guys getting them so quickly?!

btw, kerry ordered more than 1 steering damper, so when mine comes in, he'll also have a few more if anyone else wants to grab one too

That is one thing I definitely miss about my G35, could actually feel the steering. The steering on this car is very "floaty" as someone already described. I understand that they are two very different vehicles and have two distinct purposes. I'm hoping that this might make a difference. I'm eagerly awaiting the reviews!

No. It might make it feel more boring to you.

Most of the weight of the damper lies along the axis of rotation of the steering wheel, so it doesn't add any noticeable "weight" to the steering feel.

Like others have said, it reduces vibrations translated through the steering wheel. It's on the IS-F to compensate for the stiffer suspension, and works just as well on the ISx50.

Even if you feel that you have no vibration or have very little, for $30 and 15 minutes you really can't go wrong.
