2006 doesn't have the lighted gas/trunk buttons, 2007+ does.

Its strange, cause I've got 2007+ version but no (working) illumination... And there seems to be no spare bulbs for that button assemble... Any ideas?

fml, this is the smallest dumbest issue I run into everyday with the car. I cant really see the button cause its tilted down a little and its not lit and the buttons are small and next to each other AND i cant remember which button is on top or buttom. FUUUUU

I am willing to pay for this stupid upgrade.

Just remember it like I do. Bottom button is the gas button because the gas tank is at the bottom for the car.

is your interior light setting maxed out? it's the thing with a lightbulb symbol above the gas/trunk button.

On a similar note and don't mean to hijack the thread, but for those of us with Non-Nav cars, the CD "track up and down" and the CD "disk change" arrows are the same way. At night all you see are up and down arrows on the left and right side at the bottom.

Hah, if this "mod" was <$100 I might be tempted to swap out. It's nice to fill out that blank too, in addition to the functionality.
