Use the search feature, lots out there on this topic. Most people think it's ripping off BMW and many have had problems with wires melting, poor quality, etc.

IAMJAVEDG 02-02-10 04:42 PM

I've had them twice.... you will regret it if you get them. :) trust me... its not fun replacing headlamps and baking them over and over again to replace "angel eyes" when they get messed up...

with that being said, leave angel eyes on beamers, and lambo doors on lambos.

LEXX135 02-02-10 04:59 PM

plz dont get the angel eyes. If you want them angel eyes, get a bimmer instead. sry just my opinion

jus let him rice out his whip if thats what he wants lol

i suspect hes a youngin

This mod actually looks good on well maintained clean cars. It does look like rice if the car's beat. At least its not an LED strip tryin to be like an Audi.

OP, adding angel eyes involves opening the headlights thru baking or some other method.

i think angel eyes look nice, but not nice enough to break open your headlights

iRock 02-02-10 08:05 PM

I think they look nice also but to much work for me

trixxx519 02-02-10 08:19 PM

^+1 i think they look nice, but too much work, like if you have to replace them you would have to redo the process all over again

ijulmimi 02-02-10 09:21 PM

i have em. imo looks great. but i recon u get the headlights painted and install hid. the process of baking the headlights and all..i dont think i want my 2IS to go thru that again hehe no regrets thou :P

The word "Rice" is very overused in the 2IS forum, the problem they don't know themselves. :p

*not pointing to anyone*

I see these on BMW's all the time. Do they have rice in Germany?

get plenty here ;), imo unless you have a full show car and actually take your car to shows, dont do it.

Many manufacturer's seem to have a distinctive "look" on their headlights that give character to the car. Audi has the LED strips, BMW has the angel eyes.

For a Lexus, it's the yellow fogs. Be true to your car's JDM heritage!
