driver's seat noise ???

my 08is350 has squicky noise on the driver's seat back support area.
whenever I move little bit, it makes the noise like 70 years old wood chair.
I'm 5'10 175lbs

Any one had problems with seats?

I had this fixed on my '08 as well... It's a known problem. Lexus should repair with no charge.

There are 2 metal tabs that have little white rubber condoms on them. after a while the white rubber breaks and you are hearing the metal on metal. take a dremel, cut them off, throw some vaseline in between. at least that was what the tsib said to do. those tabs are just there to guide the seats into place when assembling the car.

Just bring your car to the dealer. As mentioned above, there is a TSIB for the seat squeak.

I just had this done on my car two weeks ago and I squeak no more.

wow thank you all for the reply.

I've had little difficulty fixing weird noises at the Lexus dealership.
I have weird clunky noise on rear driver's side wheel area. I finally figured out how to make that noise. Whenever I brake and turn right and take my foot off from the brake, it makes 'clunk clunk clunk' noise. My car only has 16k miles on it.... -_-

anwayz I'm glad that there is a fix for this and I'm not the only one who has this problem.

I'll fix my seat asap.

ThankZ

I have an 07 and they did the TSB on my seat. The creak came back a year later, but they just tightened all the seat bolts, and now it's fine.
