All Weather Mats OEM

Has anyone bought the OEM all weather mats lately?

They stopped selling it and won't have redesigned ones out for awhile.

Just wondering if anyone here has inside info as to when the redesigned IS ones are coming out?

One of the service managers told me Feb/Mar... take it for what it's worth..

I was suppose to get it with my car, but they didn't even install it. The carpet mats that's in the driver's side has also been pinned down with the plastic ties.

Just picked up a set of weathertech's for the GF's IS250. They fit wonderfully... would certainly recommend them.

toyota just announced today that the is350 isn't under the recall. so not sure why they would be re-designing the mats if toyota determined that the issue lies within the actual pedal itself. i still have mine in my car, no way i'd take it out in the new england winter.

The IS250/350's are within the recall but just not yet. They want to take care of the ES350's first and as soon as that gets rolling smoothly they'll induct the IS's as well into the optional safety recall..

Yeah there not gonna replace my gas pedal.... Ill be pissed. Hopefully the recall doesnt mess up or change our is in a bad way.

Yup, supposedly the problem started w/ the ES first, thats why they're starting with them.

But from what I've heard from a Service rep.. I was told that Lexus gave them a timeline of Feb/March for the IS's... we shall see..

Actually I'll ask tomorrow since I'll be at the dealership.

Don't have the recall done, it is your car.

There is a simple reason why they were redesigned. The old one are the biggest POS floor mats ever made. Lexus should make good for all the people who bought them!

I have had the OEM all weather since I got the car and have never had a single issue. I love them, work like a charm. I'll punch the service rep that tries to zip tie them or anything else for that matter.

How many miles are are on your car?

Do you drive in your socks?

These mats do not last, You may want to take a close look at the driver's heel section of the mat.

or--you could just get a pair of scissors, and cut the zip ties.:)

Dealer told me in November that they only zip in the mats for new sales.
