Default TPMS - Pacific Industries vs Schrader (IS 250 AWD 2006)

Hello to all Lexers,

I have 2 of my TPMS faulty and it needs replacement. I would like to know based any past experience from the lexus owners here as to which one of the 2 should I go for.

PI TPMS is USD 94 / piece
http://www.tpmsdirect.com/2006_Lexus..._p/1204-50.htm

Schrader TPMS is USD 39 / piece.

Since the average battery life of an OE TPMS sensor is 5-7 years and the sensors in my Lex are already 6-7 years old and the batteries may in each unit may be nearing the end. I 've decided to change all four instead of just doing the two.

Is there a cheaper alternative????

Thank you in advance.

Am I the only one who faced this? Any advice? Anyone?

I think only the Pacific ones will read with the system. Kinda of proprietary...unless someone knows otherwise.

I got a after market set at discount tire that they programed to my car. Not sure what brand they are. Give them a call.

get the pacific TPMS sensors off ebay. i've seen them go for as cheap as $25-$30 per and $75 for a set of four. YMMV.
