Default Another KeyFob dilemma.. HELP!!

So I was at the bars the night before Thanksgiving, having a good time. lol. Then a buddy asked me where my keys were, I reached into my pocket and my keyfob(the chip part/valet key?) was missing! It was detached from the metal key in my pocket somehow and found a way out... I searched everywhere for it, my bouncer friend let me look after everybody was gone, still no luck. So.. the next morning Lexus Roadside Assistance towed my car to the nearest Service center. I get a call the next day and the guy tells me it will cost an ARM and a LEG to replace reset and reprogram the key to the car. I dunno if he is just trying to rape my wallet but it almost seems crazy that he is charging me $505 american dollars!! Thats a 50" Flatscreen that I could have bought on yesterdays Black friday sales! So to wrap it up, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or opinions on the whole situation. And if anybody knew of a place in California (preferably Northern) that sells the KEYFOB for my 2IS. PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE HELP ME. TIA CL.

Insane riight? well they are telling that they have to reset all the computer stuff. Since I lost the the KeyFob. If i had a spare that probably how much it would have cost. But I might jus ask them to forgot the whole reprogamming thing and hopefully the keyfob wasnt found by anybody. I asked if i get my own keyfob and he said that would be fine, but would cost $310! I honestly think the guy is pullin my chain but we'll see. i miss my baby too much..
