Well don't bother trying the odometer-reset-button-with-acc-on-switch trick like for resetting the oil maint light. It doesn't work.

Sent an email to Flyaudio this afternoon. After working great for two days, the exe file has gotten corrupted on the nav chip again and I didn't even touch it. I'm fed up and going ahead with other map software.

Carl, sorry to hear about your frustration with the Fly Audio setup. We have a scan tool that can read and perform functions on the cars ECU. In over 5 years we have yet to see an issue on Lexus that this tool can't address.

On another note, I am excited to see how the other mapping software performs on the Fly Audio unit. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

ive been trying to get tomtom software and map to run on my unit. i got the software to install and run but am still trying to get the map to autorun... ill let you all know when i get it working!

it should be alot better than the navi maps that come from flyaudio

Just wondering, have the issues with the radio frequencies and temperature is shown in Celsius not Fahrenheit, been fixed? The IPOD interface does seem kind of weak, but overall the system looks pretty good! I might jump on this.

These fixes will be via software update, sometime in early 2010.

I can't wait to have mine installed on weds.

It's under "maps" and download for pocket pc windows mobile, right? Isn't the system a windows ce?

they're software related problems and they don't happen all the time. It is impossible and very cost inefficient to run the multitude of tests to catch every possible problem before manufacturing.

This way makes much more sense from a business standpoint. They aren't huge problems anyway.

its an airbag light, you won't die.

Its just the same as putting in aftermarket tail lights and getting the brake light warning.

Automax, just a note that not everyone wants the temperature to be changed to Fahrenheit. I live in Canada so we use Celsius here. If they do update it, make that an optional feature and not a permanent change.
