What the heck is in the windshield? Since new, I've noticed the dot pattern embedded in the windshield more and more. When the sun is bright and I focus on whites or light colors ahead, everything has a slight blur affect as it moves in the horizon. This is the case whether stopped or moving.
Anyone else notice it more as the car ages?
If I had the dealer replace it, what are the chances of getting that same factory seal? How hard is it to achieve this? I've been inclined to let it go for fear they can't do as good a job as the factory, but this thing is driving me crazy.

Are you wearing polarized sunglasses?

 

For myself if im wearing polarized sunglasses and if im looking in the right angle with the sunlight i can see the "dot martix."

However i see that on many vehicles on the road. So i dont think replacing it will solve your problem.

 

I guess I picked a bad time to stop sniffing glue.

 

Not wearing glasses. Also not talking about the factory dot tint near the rearview mirror. This is a dot pattern from top to bottom.
