I got a guy to build a metal plate that works like a bridge, high enough for water to pass under it, and my car doesnt scrape

I've seen people use large clamps to pull their exhaust up a little bit to get some more clearance. Maybe you could look into this to see if it may help you.

turn the radio up really loud so as to not hear the scraping

ive tried backing up, and there is seemingly no scrape on my steep driveway. going up straight on, however, is a PITA! the same can be said for the front lip or front bumper of lowered rides. one wheel at a time, and some good amount of patience will make the minimal scraping a bit more bearable.

If sparks don't fly, your ride's too high. :)

swing that ***** sideways! in other words... angle the car as much as possible going up and down driveways.

You shouldn't be driving a lowered car if:

1. You don't know how to avoid scraping up driveways.

2. You care that you're scraping.
