Default KBB used car pricing

Hello all,

I sold my IS250 and now in the market for an used 350 from a private party

I need all your inputs on kbb pricing evaluations. Given that an IS350 never been in an accident, flood....anything extraordinary and is in "normal" condition, would you pay the "FAIR" value? In other words, do you think the "Fair" value clearly represent what the car is worth? Or do you always aim lower than the "Fair" blue book value?

thanks for your inputs

i work in the used car industry and we have always relied on Nada values instead of KBB. Nada is more accurate because it is updated monthly and also evaluated according to regions of the united states. some cars are worth more or less in different areas.

^^If you worked in the used car industry where you bought used cars and then sold them, then I would think that BLACK BOOK is the only one that really mattered

Buy used at Black Book, try selling for retail

^^ black book also sir. We usually bought cars behind loan value on NADA. Regardless if I WAS IN HIS SITUATION i would use NADA instead of KBB.

so do you thing the "fair" value is actually fair on NADA, or should a good deal be priced/negotiated lower?
