Default Headlight yellowy

I bought the car used so obviously it would have some signs of wear and tear. My headlights have a slight yellow tint but not really noticeable but it bothers me a lot. It doesnt have any deep scratches or anything like that, and its not really cloudy. Its just a really light yellow shade and bothers me so much. How do i fix this?

OEM ones are a bit yellowish but has the brightest output....if you want WHITE light, you need to go with 6300K (but will lose some output)

I don't think he's talking about the light color but the actual lens color.

Go buy yourself some Meguires PlastiX (I think that's what it's called) plastic polish and go to town on your lens. Helps if you have a random orbital buffer (like a Porter Cable) to do the elbow work. I had the same problem with my Supra's headlights as they got older. The UV slowly breaks down the plastic and causes it to yellow. Luckily, it's mostly just a surface phenomenon.

The Meguiar's PlastX comes in two versions: PlastX only and one with the orbital buffer for $20 at Walmart. I bought one about two weeks ago. Hooked it to my powered drill kit and was able to remove most of the yellowish stains from my lenses.

is that the one with the sand paper too. the headlights arent yellow enough for me to want to sand it down and stuff but I am willing to use the cream thing to remove whatever yellow is on there with a soft pad.

I used a cream one that is a fine rubbing compound a while ago in my old car and it worked very well. Got it from AdvancedAuto.

I find that Bluemagic Headlight Lens Restores by far works the best. Ive used this on my other cars and it leaves no disappointment. Just make sure to use also and work it in very well.
