does anyone know where in the driver side door the wiring is located for the locking system. i'm trying to find a wire that can be used to trigger a relay when car is locked or unlocked

 

try searching up the puddle lights DIY.. i believe that is how they are triggered..

 

thanks for your reply. just wondering if the puddle lights always come on when doors are unlocked or do they only come on when you approach the car?

the reason i'm trying to determine this is because i have a autofold mirror that i would like to fold away when car is locked and unfold when unlocked
