I obliterated a 2008 ish civic Si lol. Those are the ones with the k20z3 or something like that in them. I know the car ain't fast but damn was that fun lol. He gave me a huge thumbs up and went on his way afterwards, must have never known that Lexus makes a decently quick car
I am a lurker here. My previous car that BMW bought back is a 135i and it pulls a lot harder than the is350. Stock for stock the BMW's suspension is better equiped for high speed as well, other than straight away I believe BMW will win hands down on all speed related contest. Modified, those N54 turbo engines are susceptible to tunes, so I wouldn't drag them from a light either. I bought the 350 for reliability and service, not for performance, which will be fulfilled in 2-3 years by a cayman.
"not for performance"
Then you should have brought a IS250 then Yea right. the IS350 is a sporty performance sedan. Not high performance but more performance then most people ever need.
i use to say the is350 is a luxury 4 door version of the 350z. back then, the performance was great from this car and the sound. is250 and is350 is not even a fair comparison.
smoked a 750li and a subi sti that was making supposed to be 500 but had a boost leak time of race. the 2gr is a beast
I got slowly pulled on by a local 2006 stage 2 STi sedan. The guy said he had his stock wheels in his trunk and back seat during that race. It was by no means a slaughterfest but he slowly and surely pulled from 20 to about 100. I had a 200+ passenger with me and he had no passengers.
