Default Smoke/White Vapor from AC?

So today around 4PM I was driving on the 605 freeway and while cruising around 75 mph a smoke/white vapor started coming out of the AC vents with the AC set on Low. Should I be worried about this and take it to the dealership, or is this normal?

Was it a hot & humid day?
Was there an odor?

Most likely you had some water vapor come out of the system. Can happen on hot sticky days.

It was around 87-89 degrees, and there was no difference in smell.

Has happened to me too, generally when it's extremely humid and the sun isn't strong. I get it most frequently when I'm vacationing in the Myrtle Beach area - I guess southeast summers can get ridiculously humid.

You may want to have the Stealer look at it (under warranty), could be a low charge.

I disagree. This situation happens when the discharge temperature from the vents is ICY cold.

A low charge can cause the evaporator to ice!

Serious? The white vapor only came out for 3-5 seconds max and it hasn't happened ever since.

If it is still under warranty, why not let them check it.

I would bring it in to the dealer for a checkup.

if it happens again, bring it in. If you notice air is not blowing as good as it was before, then bring it in the check the evap.
