Thumping noise coming from front driver's side area

First of all, my car has never been in any major accidents. Only replaced the rear and front bumpers from being hit by others.

I've been getting this annoying thumping noise coming from the front driver's side area for the past 2 years. I took it into the dealership about 2 years ago and the technician told me it was from uneven tire wear due to breaking and that it would go away after I got new tires. Well, I got new tires 2 weeks ago and the noise is still there and it's driving me crazy. I hear it when I go straight and make slight right turns. The noise goes away when I make slight lefts. The thumping became louder over the years and differs in thumping rate when I speed up or brake.

Does anyone know what could be wrong with my car?
Will this be covered under warranty?

Want to be prepared before I go back to the dealership.

TIA

did u do any suspension mods? when ur car got hit did it damage anything to the suspension or chassis? who replaced the bumpers the dealership or a autobody shop?

I have eibach springs installed. The insurance and the auto body place I took it too didn't say anything about damaging my suspension or chassis. I took the car to wear I usually take my car for body work.

Now that you have your new tires put on, take it back to the dealer - something's wrong!

hey i thought i was alone. i have the same noise, except its coming from the front right. thumping is loudest at ~40 mph, and slowly progesses into a roarish noise at freeway speeds. i'm suspecting wheel bearing, as i got into an accident two years ago where i got sideswiped while making a right turn. my car's going to the dealer tomorrow, i'll let you know what they say the problem is.

Bringing this to the top. I have the same clunking noise coming from my front driver side wheel area. I only hear it at lower speeds (below 40), but it's a definite clunk/pop sound that's pretty steady. This is on an '06 IS350 which I've only owned for 3 months.

could possibly be the shock. go out and press down on the hood above the front driver side shock (being careful not to dent the hood). you shouldnt get to much movement. if it seems easier to compress the driver side shock and you get alot of movement, most likely the shock is blown.

I have a 2011 with 30,000 miles and I hear the thumping. I noticed my alignment is off for some reason too. Could that be my problem?
