Aux jack TSIB... Didn't fix problem?
 

I had the TSIB performed for the Aux jack noise, and I'm still getting engine noise through the stereo when using my iPod. Its not quite as bad as it was before, but its definitely still there. Has anyone who's had the repair done have better luck?

The dealer pretty much said "Oh well, if that didn't fix it than there's nothing we can do".

I'm not so happy right now.

basically the TSIB is to add a filter between your ipod and the aux jack..
ask them for another filter to see if that works?

try a new aux cable. the one i have now is causing problems and makes the sound cut out if the wire isnt completely straight.

Cool. I'll try a new cable first. If that doesn't work, I'll dig deeper into what the actual "fix" is...

this is the exact same thing im using in my right now, no more buzzing sounds. and its louder than the standard aux since it uses the ipods equalizer.
