whats the easiest way to get rid of condensation in your headlights?

not something you would like to see on the inside your headlights haha..i would say if it's minimal take the high beam light out or undo the D4S bulb/adapter in there to let air in..if it doesn't do the trick or happens again..u might want to undo/redo whatever you did to ur headlights (such as painting, etc.) if u unsealed ur assembly you may want to check your sealing job n do it again. otherwise i can't help past that, u didn't say if u did anythin to ur headlights .

if it's still under warranty shouldn't lexus take care of that? If not, pop it open and reseal.

it happened after i installed my HID's. its only on the right side =(

Park the car under direct sunlight.

Open the cover/hatch, and let the condensation evaporate.

It'll take a whole day, but it'll fix it. Same thing happened to my car... ;)

You need to elaborate on what exactly you did with your lights when you installed your HIDs. Did you open the headlights and do any modifications?
Did your car come with HIDs, or did you convert your H11 halogen setup to an HID kit? If the latter, did you replace the back covers, or drill the 1" hole and insert the rubber grommet correctly?

If the back is not sealed well, you'll find that water that accidently gets splashed near the headlight will result in condensation of the headlight.

Considering that the headlight has maybe 3 or 4 stock vents placed around it, I can't think of anything else besides a poorly sealed back.

oh, and to dry it, leaving the assembly in the sun for a day is a great way. You can also use a hairdryer, though it's very important to let the temperature inside and outside the headlight dry before reassembling. Silica gel packets also temporarily help. However, finding the root of the problem is the most important.

when i installed my HIDs on my IS that came w/ halogen lows,
i had to drill a hole in the back of the headlight cover for teh wires to come out,
the hole came out more like an oval,
when i put the gromet in it didn't seal it completely
when it rained one day i got condensation,
after a few days it dried up
Then i took my cover, re-drilled the hole more circular so the gromet would sit flush
then i took electrical tape and taped the grommet down good,(some people use silicone)
now no more condensation.
i'm guessing the same thing has happened to you(didn't seal the back gromet very well), so thats what you can do to fix it

Seal the grommet with marine silicone. That's what I did. I still had condensation inside after I did this so I ordered new covers and removed the aftermarket HIDs, brought back to the dealer and they replaced my whole driver side headlamp under warranty.
