Your car must have the latest technology "yellowish" HID's like mine had when I bought my car. At least that's whay my salesperson told me.

The bulb types are normally inscribed on the headlight lenses. For example, each of the headlight lenses on my 00 LS400 have "D2R" (low beam HID bulb) and "HB3" (highbeam bulb) on them. Whether or not a car has HID should be clear if you look at the lenses.

I have HIDs for sure. Does that mean I have AFS?

If they're from the factory, yes... you can't get one without the other on a 2IS
